The highest package offered by CSE at LPU in 2020 was 42 lacs per annum by Microsoft company. Lovely Professional University (LPU) has once again set the highest placement record in North India with more than 500 companies offering over 5000 jobs to its students. This is the third time in a row that LPU has achieved such success in placements. In the previous year, the number of placements from LPU was the highest in North India. In 2016, LPU also saw a significant rise in the number of placements in international companies. Reputed international brands like P&O Cruise (the US and Australia), Hafele (Germany/Bangladesh), Wilmar International (Africa), Voltas International (Dubai/Muscat), Diyar Infotech (Kuwait), and more have inducted LPU students. Being a alumni of LPU, I would say you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Every year breaks its own record of placements. Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA and many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 30 LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless.
