According to me, Lovely Professional University one of the top class University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the major points one must consider while looking to pursue the B.Tech CSE Course is as follows: 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc. 3. Highly qualified faculty. The highest package offered by CSE at LPU in 2020 was 42 lacs per annum by Microsoft company. Lovely Professional University (LPU) has once again set the highest placement record in North India with more than 500 companies offering over 5000 jobs to its students. This is the third time in a row that LPU has achieved such success in placements. In the previous year, the number of placements from LPU was the highest in North India. In 2016, LPU also saw a significant rise in the number of placements in international companies. Reputed international brands like P&O Cruise (the US and Australia), Hafele (Germany/Bangladesh), Wilmar International (Africa), Voltas International (Dubai/Muscat), Diyar Infotech (Kuwait), and more have inducted LPU students. The year 2016 also witnessed Fortune 500 companies including Amazon, IBM, Cognizant, Verizon, Hewlett Packard, United Health, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Apple recruiting LPU students in large numbers. So far Cognizant Technology Solutions have recruited more than 1900 students from LPU. Amazon has also taken in 90 students from the campus. Other big recruiters are Tech Mahindra and Capgemini. LPU also confirmed an increase in new recruiting companies visiting its campus-like SAP Labs India, Hitachi, Bosch, Hafele, and Kony India. Hindustan Unilever recruited only LPU students in North India. I always think about LPU when it comes to placements. LPU provides very good placement every year in all the programs. Being a alumni of LPU, I would say you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Amazon offers 3 students a record Rs. 28 Lacs package + 28 students offered internships! For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick market ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. Being an alumnus of LPU, I would prefer LPU has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. At LPU, it is not about calling companies, it is about preparing students and making sure that they get selected. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Being an alumnus from LPU and selected in campus placements, I believe I can answer your concern. LPU gives great placement opportunities to its students. Every year breaks its own record of placements. Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA and many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 30 LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) have selected LPU student from management discipline. LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). Talking about placement scenario of 2020: 1. Around 630 companies visited LPU for recruitment 2. Around 192 companies offered packages of more than 5 LPA 3. Bosch, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Cap Gemini have been the top recruiters. 4. Trident offered package of 15LPA to many students of LPU. In short, there is no shortage of placement opportunities to the student of LPU.
