There are many institutes that offer designing courses. Which among them is the best to go for NIFT or any other institute?

There will be three rounds of counselling in NIFT Counselling 2026. One round of spot counselling is also expected if there are seats left.

NIFT result is expected to be out in the third week of April 2026 for Stage 1 and in the last week of June for Stage 2. 

Candidates will be able to check the cutoff for NIFT Delhi on the website of NIFT: nift.admissions.nic.in. The opening and closing rank of all the programmes is given on this page. This year, NIFT 2026 cutoff is expected to be on the lower side.

You will not be offered any direct admission to NIFT Delhi even if you are a class 12th topper. Candidates must fill the NIFT Entrance Application and appear for the exam. If they clear the cutoff, admission is offered.

For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025 ranged between 19 and 967 across various UG and PG courses. For B.Des, the Round 3 cutoff ranks were in the range of 92 and 967, wherein B.Des. in Fashion Design was the highly sought-after specialisation for admission. C
