There has been 4-years since I have done my 12th with science. Can I now do Polytechnic from a government college?

First of all, let me clarify you that there is no age criteria for Polytechnic the basic eligibility criteria for Polytechnic is class 10 completed with at least 50% marks, there after you have to appear for entrance of your state (if there any) for Polytechnic. Yes, you can go for it. There is no restrictions for that, even if you have gaped 4 years, so you can pursue your Polytechnic and study further.

6 years agoNowadays, most of the State Governments conduct their own entrance exams for admissions in polytechnics. Eligibility criteria of Government polytechnics may differ from one another. In your case age may become a crucial factor. So, my advice for you is to go through the website of your state's council for technical education, or you can check the website of any Polytechnic College of your state. You can also meet them personally if it is possible. All the best.
