this year i have cleared my bcom studies, i have no idea what to do ahead?please guide?what are the career option in the field of commerce?

Hi, After B.com, you have two option, i.e. to go for higher studies or opt for a job. If you wish to go for higher studies, then you can pursue: M.com MBA. Msc Finance and many more course. Before opting for a course you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best course. How ever if you are interested in pursuing MBA, it would be advisable for you to work for 2-3 years after graduation and then opt for MBA. I hope this answers your query. Commerce being good and vast stream the jobs and courses are more of like business and corporateship type based on the market fluctuations. After the successful completion of B.com if you are looking for a career in business, you may opt for : * Chartered Accountancy (CA), * Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), * Cost Accountancy (from ICWA), * Company Secretary ship (CS), * Stock Broking or * MBA You may opt for MBA which will open up options in all industries in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT &amp; Systems and Operations. An MBA is a post graduate course while stock broker needs graduation and 2 yrs experience with a stock broking firm. CS, CA, ICWA and CFA are certifications you can get by clearing exams after Class XII run by ICSI (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.icsi.edu" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.icsi.edu</a>), ICAI (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.icai.org" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.icai.org</a>), ICWAI (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.icwai.org" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.icwai.org</a>) and ICFAI (<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.icfai.org" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.icfai.org</a>) respectively. M.Com, MBA, CA, CS, ICWA, CFA, are the courses which is good for you apart of this you may appear in Banking entrance exam for bank related jobs UPSC civil services exam for IAS or IPS services.
