This year UPES has not declared rank but asked to attend counseling which is to be held on May 31 along with demand draft. Why is it so?

Because many students get ranked low and don't come to UPES counselling. Also, many of those who get good rank don't come to counselling too. Yes, it happens for you get to know all the ranking and branch related information then and there. Demand Draft is required only if you have to take admission.
