    Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is an institution of national importance well known for its undergraduate medical course, MBBS. It takes admission on the basis of the NEET UG score for the MBBS course, which has 200 seats. Due to high competition, the cut-off is usually high even for state quotas.
