Dear Ramesh, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. LPU is the best option for CSE. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Earlier, I was not much aware of the university but when my neighbourer took admission in LPU, every other day she talked about the laurels which university had and the continuous efforts which university puts. I would recommend VIT. VIT is a reputed and one of the oldest institutions and it has good infrastructure, highly educated and supportive faculty. They provide better exposure and guidance to the students. Also, you would get better placement opportunity at VIT, so go for it. Don't waste your time thinking so much. -

7 years agoI think I will recommend VIT. The faculty members and course curriculum there are great. LPU is good too and the crowd there is great. It comes down to which location you prefer. If you want to go to a place with a better education then go for VIT. If you want to go to a place with the satisfactory education and a great crowd then choose LPU. -

According to my knowledge, VIT is the best college in accordance with computer science and engineering with every specialisation in it whatever you prefer to. So, according to my opinion, you must prefer VIT at the top priority.

If you are seeking admission in CSE branch then my suggestion would be VIT. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. It is far better than Jain and LPU. One thing you need to see is that it is far away. So, you have to adjust accordingly.
