u shud hav 80%+ in 12 th but dat doesn't matter much it depends on ur scores in competetive exams along wid rank

for BITS it is 80% in +2 but for AIEE or IIT kind of exam u have to be above 60%........but to get admission in best engg college ur IIT rank should be in between 0 to 7,000 & for AIEE it must be below 500 state rank
