    LPU is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Internationally, LPU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). .

    LPU has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of its students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively seven times in row. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated it as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. MNCs recruit its students for the top notch positions which are the envy of many. The packages range from 1cr-15LPA in Microsoft, Amazon, Google etc.

    There is no official ranking system from any government body in India which gives rankings based on tier system in India. Chandigarh University has been ranked A+ BY NAAC. Ranked 3rd among top private universities of India. Ranked 7th in Top 25 Young Universities of India. Ranked 10th Among Top 50 Private State Universities of India.

    There is no such ranking is done. However, Chandigarh University is graded A+ by NAAC. The university is one of the top private universities.
