The Tier 1 in public educators is taken by IITs, NITs, PEC etc. In Private educators by BITs, VIT, LPU and Thapar etc. I am not so aware about CU, Being an Alumni of LPU, I can just comment on LPU. By doing continuous efforts, LPU has been awarded several ranks and accreditation. LPU is a renowned university and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. It has other accreditation also like Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), Council Of Architecture (COA), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) as well as International Memberships. Coming to the rankings- LPU has been Ranked 2nd by HackerEarth in the race of most technologically aware crowd thrusting LPU ahead of IITs and NITs, Ranked as best University of the year in Industry-Academia Relationship in India by Golden star, Ranked as Best Private University by ASSOCHAM, Top 10 Engineering Colleges in India in Placement by Higher Education Review, Ranked among Top 10 Engineering Institutes in India by India Today, and many more. LPU has been awarded National Employ- ability 2020 for the Best Placements. MNCs recruit its students for the top notch positions which are the envy of many. There is no official ranking system from any government body in India. But Lovely Professional University has availed following recognition's, accreditation's, and rankings:
University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Both LPU and CU have a good name and come under the tier one category of private educators. However, LPU has performed really well in THE ranking and banged the 74th position globally. Hi, I don't know about Chandigarh University. However, I can tell you about LPU. There are numerous rankings, but here I am going to share a few.
1. Ranked among Top 10 Engineering Institutes in India by India Today.
