In most of the B.Sc degree the minimum eligibility required is to be a 12th pass with Science subjects (and Maths), but this may vary on the institutes' requirement. I would suggest you to contact with your admission department for more information on this.

Yes , if you are not still enrolled for that particular course than you can change it so contact SMU as soon as possible to change it.
