Excluding the best ones like IITs and DCE/NSIT, the other good colleges for civil branch in the regions you mentioned, are NIT Kurukshetra (nice record of placements & other infrastructure), MM Engg. college Mullana (Ambala), DCRUST Murthal (50 Km off North delhi).
