Group task : 8 people, we all were given a sheet with names of 6 places on it, and two columns, one for individual rating and one for group rating. we had to judge the tourist locations and rate top two first individually and then after group discussion. was a fun task. every1 contributed his/her points.

2. Academic domain knowledge like Difference between thyristor and transistor for Electronics and Instrumentation engineer etc.

Hi.My xat percentile is 79.68.sectional cutoff of 28 in quants, 90 in verbal n 89 in decision making. please sujest colleges based on the score and also tell if welingker b'lore campus is possible.

1. Reliance BIG TV AD - the one where everyone keeps saying 'mere pass ma hai'. The clip finishes with the product Rel Big TV were advertising. Discussion thrown was - How has cinema impacted Indian culture. 10minute discussion on that.
2. The newspaper AD-Hindu was shown. Topic related to that was given- 'Indian youth are not updated with realities of the society'. Then we were givn 5-10 min to think and were taken to our panels. 15 min to discuss.
3. An inspirational video was shown (*did motivate us ) followed by a video of narayan murthy telling about various attributes of great leader and later we had a discussion whether we agreed to the points he stated.
4. From the movie. Frost/Nixon released in 2008.regarding the Watergate Scandal.
The topic was then given."Everything the President does,is not illegal",a dialogue from the clip.
5. A clipping of Mr Narayana Murthy's speech on LEADERSHIP was shown and was asked a question for which we had to discuss later. It was common for all but each group was directed to a different room with different panels.
Question was "Do you agree with Mr. Murthy's speech? Would you like to attribute anything else to it?"

Congrats Shailendra Malik49732 for securing GEPI call from SIMC Pune.
There was a welcome and general presentation about SIMC by the director Mr Chandan Chatterjee (CC as he is popularly known) and a students of SIMC.
The process started with a computer based psychometric test which was on the same lines at MICAT. Pretty simple as you have to give your opinion on a certain question. Just make sure you understand the question and give an honest answer !! Also we were given to write an SOP.

B.E. (Mech)- 65.35Do I stand a chance at some good colleges with decent placement. I am currently working.( 6-7 months of exp)
