Until when the 2018-2020 batch admission open? Does having a backlog affect admission currently?

The first round of admissions will be open till February and the second round of admissions will be open till March 2018. Applicants should clear the backlogs before the commencement of the course. The admission committee will also study the causes of the backlog.
