UPSC is said to be the toughest exam. Someone said that if you prepare for UPSC, you can clear GATE and other competitive exams, is it true?

I am doing mechanical engineering. I would like to do MBA by clearing CAT and GATE. Please help me.

Hello, No, it is not like that what you are thinking. Both exams are different from each other. UPSC is a civil service exam and it is for administrator and officer's post and whereas GATE is for students who want to do higher study after completing engineering.

Hello Dear, Its not like that. Every competitive exam have different pattern and method of approach. UPSC screen for administrator and officers whereas GATE look for good engineers.

Hi Arshav, Its not necessary by studying for UPSC mechanical you can clear GATE exam. As both the exams have different exam pattern and syllabus for their exams. Yes, it might help you insome case but not 100%. If you really want to go for GATE first focus on it, then you can go for UPSC exam prepar
