Vit hostel fee too costly aproxx 1 Lacs, so, is there possible any room near vit College and mess facilities?

Yes, you can get hostel facility ( PG ) and mess facility near to the college.

There are rooms available but mess facilities aren't much there. It's better and safe to live in hostel in first year, later if you want you can get converted to a dayboader in 2nd year. Vellore might not be a costly city, but living separately would cost you more than living in hostel plus you have your friends to accompany you.

Yes, you have all the facilities even outside VIT campus. But I guess there is a policy in VIT that freshers will not be allowed to stay outside the campus without proper approval or reason. Please check with the administration team and plan accordingly.
