you could become freelancer auditor apart from working in a private organization. The students from ICAI have been placed with good package. Year 2010 the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has placed three of its candidates at a record salary of close to Rs 70 lakh with Singapore-based Olam International.

Chartered Accountant has a very bright future, provided you complete the final level of the course and take your internship seriously after completing your intermediate. CA gets paid for each account he handles and not like monthly salary. If you are going to join any MNC after completing CA, then you will get paid as high 10lakh p.a depending on your skills and experience, you can earn the same (& even more) working as an individual consultant
