Dear Candidate, IILM University, Gurgoan is offering 3 years undergraduate B.A. (Hons) Public Policy programme to develop the skills necessary for understanding the political constraints faced by policy makers, assessing the performance of alternative approaches to policy implementation, evaluating the effectiveness of policies, and appreciating the sharp conflicts in fundamental human values that often animate the policy debate. This is a course about the public policy process and the role you in many different capacities can have in shaping policy outcomes. This course will introduce you to analytic frameworks for thinking about various aspects of this process. We do not study a single context or policy, rather, seek to understand how policy actors succeed (or fail) in obtaining their objectives.
