I am a female S/W Engineer having 1.7 month work experience. I want to study MS (Computer Sc and IT) in Germany and I want a suitable scholarships . I have noGerman language certificate/ IELTS/TOEFL/GRE score . Please suggest .
Dear Arpita, pursuing MS from Germany is a good idea. There you don't require TOEFL/IELTS and German language is not required as well. But surely, they require GRE score. Your work experience does not matter in any case for MS. my suggestion is that you prepare for GRE for about a month and then give the exam. The tuition fee is as low as 900 euros per year but scholarship is decided by individual colleges only after you have taken the admission. Usually above 70% degree marks and good GRE score will decide how much scholarship is offered. I am giving two good German university names where MS in comp Sc. is available. FernUniversität H

As for German language, I would say that most of the German universities have their course curriculum in English and mode of teaching is also English so learning German will not be mandatory. But as a friend I would suggest you to go for a German language for your day to day communication with your friends and classmates and it will also help you gain part time employment as a student in Germany is allowed to work 90 full days or 180 half days. For more details regarding the universities, I would request you to visit the nearest DAAD office. DAAD is officially authorized to provide information about education in Germany. They have offices in major cities in India. Hope this helps. Thanks A
