Want to go for animation after 12th. It is tough to convince parents. what to do
So many animation institutes but dont know which one to vouch for.

Hello Mitali,
Convincing parents is not easy, as traditional options have been followed by each parent. You may take them to few top Institutes offering Animation in your Area. Counselors of some organizations are very proactive in convincing Parents. You may provide them with details of Animation applications. For belief of Parents you have to find out some Role models of Animation in your area. Through them and their exponential growth, you may showcase the better growth.

I had once made a presentation on this subject to Panjab University Faculty. Let me find if it is there. I listed long term aspects of this issue, which if unsolved would continue to trouble students like you forever. I am listing a few points here:
1. CBSE needs to include marks for creativity in their 10+2 marksheet in substantial weightage
2. Banks need to evaluate artists at par with other professionals for study loans
3. Parents need to be sensitized about the huge possibilities in an arts career -

Animation industry is one of the fastest emerging fields and can be pursued by those who posses excellent creativity and drawing skills.
Training is the most essential and important aspect. You should be technically skilled and competent and able to work alone on a project for long hours with risk-taking ability and patience.
Minimum education qualification for a degree and diploma course in animation is plus two or equivalent.
