Hello, Making the decision to attend business school is only half the battle; there are many other things that you will need to do to prepare yourself for the business school experience. Before you can choose a business school or make any other plans, you will need to decide what you plan to do with your business degree. Answer these three questions: 1) What industries am I interested in? 2)Which business field am I interested in? 3) What kind of company would I like to work for? You need to have a Bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent with minimum 50% & above marks in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies. You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date. Your MBA specialisation basically depends on your personality, skills, and career goals. The traditional fields of Marketing and Finance will always remain popular. Those who prefer to crunch numbers and are comfortable relegating to the background with balance sheets may do well with Finance specialisation. Those who love to interact with clients, are creative and innovative, and can influence people easily can choose Marketing as their specialisation. Business Operations is the best MBA specialisation for those who have technical or engineering backgrounds and love looking after men and machines, and backed processes where the real action takes place. Human Resources or HR is a stream for people's person and is a job for those who have a charismatic personality that can mobilize employees and inspires trust and loyalty for the company. Information Technology or IT specialisation is for management graduate who are geeks at heart who love computers, gadgets, and the latest technology.
