I am final year Electronics and Telecommunication diploma engineering student,from kolkata, west Bengal.My avg marks 75%.I want to take admission in btech in govt.colleges in india through lateral entry exam.Please tell me some information regarding lateral entry exam & details admission process.

Lateral entry admission in government engineering colleges would begin in Aug-Sep 2014. You should monitor the website of state technical universities for the announcements and when they do so, apply. There is no question of best government college as more or less, majority of them are good.
