NET is National Eligibility Test to become lecturer in Government Colleges.NET is not a Degree How can you compare NET with PhD. PhD in Computers or any other Field is 3-5 Years Research Programme. if you want to become lecturer then go for PhD in Computers and clear the entrance of NET.......

I think Computer Ph.D is good for career
you can do any IT jobs and you will get MNC job easily
