Hi Jayraj, Hi, for applying for M Tech you need to clear GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is an exam that tests you on your fundamentals. The questions are generally derivations of the fundamentals. This is a common exam conducted by the IITs, and IISC, Bangalore, on behalf of the government of India, to select candidates for admission to postgraduate programs in Engineering. Few other entrance exams for MTech in deemed colleges are: Vellore Institute of Technology Master's Entrance Exam(VITMEE) ,TANCET, COMEDK PGET etc. . Following are some of the universities that offer M. Tech without GATE qualification: Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh., Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Punjabi University, Punjab, University of Roorkee, Roorkee, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur, Anna University, Chennai.
