Since everybody knows the expansions of these important and popular exams, next comes the question of how to prepare for these nerve breaking exams...I guess one must enroll for proper coaching and attend the classes with full commitment and dedication.

CAT stands for common aptitude test, MAT = management aptitude test, XAT = xavier institute aptitude test. All these are entrance exams are for admission in MBA or PGDM courses. the minimum eligibility is a pass in graduation in any stream(somewhere they consider minimum 50%)
