  • Yes, the UPSC IAS 2022 vacancies were increased to 1022 (revised again). It now includes 150 vacancies in Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) which is recently notified as a Group A service. Earlier this number was less than one thousand. SEE here for details about the UPSC IAS vacancies. The candidates should note that the final result for the IAS 2022 exam will be declared for 1022 vacancies. The Commission is expected to release the final IAS 2022 result in the last week of May 2023. In the year 2023, over 11 hundred vacancies have been notified.
