  • Yes, SSC CGL Vacancies for 2022 were reduced twice. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) initially declared 37,409 vacancies for the SSC CGL 2022 exam in February 2023. Later, the commission revised the vacancy list in April 2023. The number was then brought down to 36,012 vacancies. This was a reduction of 1,397 vacancies.

Finally, in May 2023, the SSC released a further revised final vacancy list with a total of 36,001 vacancies. This was a reduction of just one vacancy compared to the previous revision.

Overall, the SSC CGL 2022 vacancies were reduced by a total of 1,408.
