What about B.Tech CSE in LPU?

LPU is one of the best private colleges when it comes to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The most important thing for most of us when choosing a college is its placements. Let me tell you that every coming year, they are attaining a new benchmark as far as the placements are considered. Around 600 companies coming to the campus for placements and trust me, this isn't a thing you get to SEE everywhere. Also, around 50% of them offer dream packages. In those 600 companies, more than 100 companies are those who also recruit from IITs and NITs. Also, LPU has got a very huge and clean 600-acre campus with a very good infrastructure. LPU has all the facilities here like hospital banks, gyms, post offices, fire stations, in-house laundry services, etc. And as far as the sports are concerned you will get all of them here from Olympic-sized swimming pools to multiple basketball courts, cricket grounds, skating grounds, archery, etc. Talking about the academics and curriculum here, let me tell you they are just worth appreciating. The curriculum here makes every student meet each and every industrial demand. Not to forget the scholarships provided by LPU which is of very great help to all those aspiring students out there. There are various domains that can get you a scholarship like sports & culture, etc. Also, you can give the LPU NEST which is a scholarship test of LPU that can get you a good scholarship for the entire term of your course.

The eligibility is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants).

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. As per my great experience in LPU I will recommend it. I believe that LPU is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Hi Anamika, Now a days private universities are putting more efforts than some of the NIT's or even young IIT's. For NIT one has to crank JEE Mains where as for LPU one can crack LPU NEST. I am not saying that LPU NEST is easier than JEE Mains or difficult. Here I just want to tell you about the value addition, Where it might be possible that LPU is putting more efforts to make Industry ready product. First of all the difference is in the specializations. LPU offers large number of industry specific specializations, highly coveted Computer Science Engineering along with the function specific ones, while you can easily count the total number of classes in NIT's. Course curriculum : While NIT's are carrying legacy only in regards Curriculum, LPU has developed and upgraded its curriculum continuously with feedback and consultations with Industry tycoons. Three striking features of LPU are Technology training's like Github, advance excel etc. , which give a clear edge to students in employability. Diversity: LPU attracts talent from all over India as well as about 70 countries across the globe. This gives a unique global perspective, social sensibilities and networking skills. Professional enhancement: LPU has a dedicated department which works in whole course duration to ensure the holistic development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, social etiquette etc. Lets SEE the placement scenario.
