What actually crafts the image of an university or a college are the following three things which elaborates the quality of education and training of that institution.
    1. University / Institution Ranking
    2. Placement opportunity
    3. Curriculum and exposure.
When it comes to assess LPU, it creates its own Mark of Excellence in the world of Academia.
The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. Yes, both are not different, but for hons. one more subject is added in your curriculum, which will be though your choice and will be counted in your curriculum . For example, you will get basic subjects in B.Tech CSE in the initial year, and the same subject will be there in hons. Also, hons. will be having one more subject other than what is normally being taught . Also, the fee for this course is higher.

B.Tech is your regular engineering degree with 8 semesters and some predesignated credits and subjects for your specialization. This is the degree that most colleges and universities offer.
But, some autonomous colleges and deemed universities offer a choice to take up some electives or extra courses apart from the regime ones. These courses can be about advanced subjects in your specialization, research, interdisciplinary studies, etc. You can take these as complementary courses during the same 8 semesters or also work on them during semester breaks or after the 4 years. If you successfully complete them, you get a B.Tech (honors) grad
