The university campus spreads over 600 acres (2.4 km2) in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar. The green environment is super conducive to learning. LPU hosts one of the largest set of laboratories. There is a Museum containing demonstration of Projects. There is Polyhouse Technology A climate controlled cultivation (Hi-tech farming) of horticultural crops for high yield and quality production. Multimedia Studio for Science, Research and InnovationLPU has three auditoriums - Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis (seating capacity 20000+), Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium (seating capacity 2500) and university Auditorium (seating capacity 350). These auditoriums are widely used to host the events of international and national repute. The University has 2 amphitheatres which are used to organize cultural events, competitions, plays and the like. These amphitheatres are also used by regional and national film makers as location for their movies and songs. There is Aviation Lab, cultural labs, university hospital, in house laundry. Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Stadium is a cynosure for all sportspersons and it has multifarious facilities under one roof which include 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 3 Volleyball Courts, 12 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range (25 Lane), 3 Swimming Pools, 1 Fully equipped Gym, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, University has 12 full-fledged gyms out of which 2 are indoor and 10 are outdoor. These gyms are equipped with world class facilities, air-conditioners, spa room, sauna bath, cardio, calisthenics, aerobics hall, and specialised trainers. University has a center for Yoga in an area of 93.94 sq. These center is equipped with world class facilities, and specialised trainers. To take a break from their academic engagements, students can enjoy bowling, at Bowling Alley consists of bowling lines in an area of 678 sq m. Campus provides best in-class roller skating infrastructure where students can relive their childhood and prepare for competitive events.

Lovely Professional University gained global recognition in a very short time and is not only known for its academic culture and placements but also recognised for its extracurricular activities. Entrepreneurship Cell LPU has an entrepreneurship cell for management students. Under this cell, mentors from LPU as well as from the industry develop essential business skills among students. This helps the students to understand the basic insights of the corporate world and the tactics required to carry out various business practices. Students under the guidance of mentors start various business projects inside as well as outside the LPU campus. Most of the projects are usually related to sales and skills developed through these projects are convincing skills, communication skills, command of language, product knowledge, public dealing and patience level improvement. Some of the selected students get a chance to run their business venture inside the campus itself and most of them are running it successfully and setting examples for other students. One India LPU has students from all twenty-nine states of India. One India is an event at LPU which gives chance to the students to represent the culture of their state in the event. Cultural coordinators of each school in the university prepare the students for this event. In this, volunteers are asked to give their names and followed by an interview process, the student is selected for representing the state. The preparation starts almost one month before the actual date of the event. In this students try to represent the tradition and culture of the state including dance, food, lifestyle, famous architects, symbols of the state, and dressing style. All the schools with their participants roam around the whole campus to showcase their hard work. A place is fixed for the two-day event, which is usually a huge shed area of the LPU campus having a capacity of thousands of people. Students, teachers and other staff members visit the event to enjoy various food items and get entertained through various dance and music forms. In the one-month journey of this event, starting from the selection to performance and winding up, students learn various skills like teamwork, coordination, art, music, dance, painting and a lot more. This event gives everyone the chance to see mini India under one roof. One World Along the lines of one India, LPU organises another event that is One World. As the name suggests, here students from various countries of the world participate and represent their respective countries. Here also, the role of cultural coordinators is important as in One India. The selection criteria and the whole process goes the same way as in One India. This event develops cross-cultural understanding among students from various countries. Youth Vibe Youth vibe is one of the most enjoyable and interesting events for Lovely Professional University students. Here students showcase their talent through singing, drama, dancing, etc. All the talents are showcased in one event named youth vibe. Dear Nikki, I could proudly say LPU has so much to give to you as long as you are interested in grabbing the opportunities. Only during the first year (B.Tech), you would be having a tiring study curriculum I. e 9am5pm. But once you get habitual to the time, I hope you wouldn't feel that stressed. The rest of the 3 years have comparatively lesser subjects but obviously, you get to learn core subjects which are tricky and worth giving time. Coming back to utilizing your free time, I would recommend you to enroll yourself in the activities happening in DSA block-13. It's kind of a stress buster block wherein students go and get enrolled in classes like dance, singing, sports, arts. These all are free of cost. The only thing you need to have is time and interest. Through this, you could get some recognition in extracurricular activities. Besides this, if you are more of a social work loving kind of a person, then you could join few student organisation like NSS, pahal initiation etc. FYI- few students from NSS has walked the parade on 26th Jan in New Delhi too. Isn't that exciting! Please do not waste your time sitting in front of the university Mall There would be many more things coming across and on the journey. As per my experience during my stay in LPU, I found that besides academics, Lovely Professional University provides us with a lot of opportunities to pursue our extracurricular interests. For those interested in sports, the campus is equipped with all necessities like a basketball court, cricket ground, swimming pool, and more. Students interested in volunteer work can get into government organizations such as NSS. Plenty of student-driven organizations help improve public speaking, leadership qualities, peer mentoring, and also efficiency in teamwork. Performing on stage in front of thousands of people helps boost your confidence. All these skills help you build a strong CV and help to stay career-oriented. The most important thing that an interviewer looks for is communication skill. And, it requires practice because it is not something you can learn by simply reading a book. Engaging in an extracurricular activity makes you talk to different people, each having a wide range of interests. With this, you can estimate how precisely you must communicate with a person. When you are engaged in some extracurricular activity, you try to dedicate a specific time to that particular activity. You will understand that time dedicated will pay you off because you learn something wonderful. It also improves your work ethics and teaches you how dedicated one must be during work. Working together wins a game and the same goes for teamwork. Leading the team improves our leadership qualities. Working in a team teaches you how to get along with different people; this helps to expand your horizons. It also helps with learning and adapting new and creative ideas. With consistency in adapting these skills helps balance your academic performance as well. Moreover, it boosts your time management skills and manages work without stress. Students involved in other activities get to know a lot of professionals. It helps to build their social skills. You'll also learn how to maintain decent behavior in society. Regardless of all these, engaging in extracurricular activities helps you grow personally and professionally a practice to lead a life in a good way and adapt a meaningful lifestyle.

Hi, there I am an alumnus of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU. I have learned many things at LPU like time management and discipline. Life was amazing at LPU. Yes, LPU focus on co-curricular activities. Apart from notifications. LPU send motivators to join the particular events they come to in class and ask students to participate in the co-curricular activities or games. LPU has dedicated a block to these type of activities. Which is the DSA division of student affairs. It takes care of every event and activity. The most important events are organized by LPU is One World, One India apart from that LPU does organize a lot of events and student love those events. They also organize annual sports days around 4000+ students participated in 2019 in this sports day event to participated those were the best days of my life. Hi there, I am an alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. Yes apart from regular classes LPU does organize many events for their students so that they can have a rich cv when they got graduate from the university. That's why LPU organize events and extra curricular activities for their students. Like they organize explorica, One world, One India, and lot more in this students need to participate and shows the cultural background of india and the whole world together this is so fun while we were in this event. It was the one of the biggest event here in LPU. Apart from that Youth Vibe is one of the largest activity for the talent hunt for students. And like this lot more extra curricular activities done in LPU. If you want to participate then take admission in LPU. I hope this will help.

All work and No Play, Makes Jack a Dumb Boy LPU is a firm believer of this adage and thus it organizes so many extracurricular activities for its students on a regular basis. These are helpful for the holistic and all round development of the students. So, LPU is the best place to explore your talent and make sure you make the best at this place. There are a lot of things that LPU helps students build which can probably not happen anywhere else. A student can enroll for multiple activities at DSA in LPU, but also need to ensure that they are able to manage your classes and activities well. LPU is the most happening campus with daily events and competitions. LPU has the largest number of organizations and clubs to participate in and learn new things from. LPU provides you a sense of responsibility too by encouraging students to do entrepreneurial ventures and explore every aspect of their life.
