    Food Process Engineering offers decent job opportunities and career prospects. Ample amounts of job opportunities are available in front of graduates in government as well as private sectors.
    Talking about government sector, the Department of Food and Public Distribution is a well-known recruiter. Within that government agency, posts like Food Inspector, Quality Assurance Officers, etc., are available. State-sponsored food processing plants also are known to hire graduates.

    Now a days, with the increase of lots of food preparation, there increases food testing and others; as everyone wants hygienic food along with good health. Hence there is a lot of job opportunity for food process engineering in the present era.It has as many opportunities for doing any research or any new project based on it. One such is production of food powders.
    And when concerned about job opportunities, you will be getting as many job opportunities in companies like of dairy companies like Amul, P & G and bakery companies like Britannia, Parle, Bisk Farm and so on. There are also other companies like Hindustan Unilever, Nestle etc
