What about the placements?

Year-on-year LPU has been setting new records with regard to students placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 persons), Centre for Professional Enhancement, and faculty/staff from parent Schools. On average, more than 1000 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and the campus-recruitment of students from LPU has one of the best placement records in the whole of India and that is why students want to join LPU to get placed. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit the students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 800+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by the India's top talent company Aspiring Minds. Barring few names in south, there are hardly any college which can boast of such tall records.

Let me give a placement snapshot of LPU: Total companies: Above 800 Total companies offering above 10 lacs per annum: over 60 Total companies out of fortune 500 club: over 80 Total companies which don't recruit outside of IITs and IIMS but come to LPU: Over 50 Total placement drives : Over 1000 So you can SEE that all over the year LPU attracts over 2 companies per day for placements! The highest package offered this year has been 42 lacs by Microsoft. In case you are wondering how! LPU has stellar record in curriculum development as per industry feedback, teaching pedagogy, technology trainings, student and faculty diversity, professional enhancement, centers for excellence established by industry, practical exposure through various projects, entrepreneurship, design thinking and innovation labs, etc. All these factors ensure the fabulous placements.
