What about the possibility of placement? I have passed HSC in science stream with 75% marks.

Most colleges offer the facility of placements and have an active placement wing. However, there are others which do not offer campus placements, and mostly offer placement assistance to its students. Please specify the course and college to which you are seeking admission, so that I may be able to specify details regarding placements for that particular course. Regards.
