From my experience, it's honestly a lot more than I expected. The CPM/finishing school itself runs almost like a separate layer on top of PGDM — regular skill-building sessions, aptitude training, communication practice, mock GDs, mock interviews, resume work, plus recruiter-specific prep. If you count it roughly, by 2nd year we easily cross a few hundred hours of structured training without even realizing it because it's spread across weeks and semesters. From what I've seen, most of our professors have solid academic qualifications — like MBA/PhD level — but what's cooler is that a lot of them have worked in corporates or startups before joining GIBS. They've been in client meetings, project planning, strategy discussions, so they bring that experience into classroom discussions and help us connect our studies to actual industry expectations.
