The kind of exposure LPU gives through activities other than classroom learning have the might to transform a student. For those interested in sports, the campus is equipped with all necessities like a basketball court, cricket ground, swimming pool, and more. The most important thing that an interviewer looks for is communication skill. And, it requires practice because it is not something you can learn by simply reading a book. Engaging in an extracurricular activity makes you talk to different people, each having a wide range of interests. With this, you can estimate how precisely you must communicate with a person. For this special PEP classes are held that aim at preparing the students for placement interviews. Students interested in volunteer work can get into government organizations such as NSS. Plenty of student-driven organizations help improve public speaking, leadership qualities, peer mentoring, and also efficiency in teamwork. All organisation / clubs are supervised by corresponding faculty members specialised in that subject. All student organizations / clubs are coming under the umbrella of DSA (Division of Student Affairs). Student could enroll themselves for the club by visiting respective Division or through online as mentioned in LPU website.

At LPU, students get the opportunity to start their own organizations or clubs to bring together students who share same interests. These organizations are independent of the University Administration. Besides this, students can also become promoters of various organizations until their request of initiating a new organisation is approved. Students can join various student organizations running in the university or they can establish a new student organisation, which is possible after following a few guidelines in this respect. The complete procedure for initiating a student organisation can be found on UMS under the link 'Manual for Student organisation'. Also you can contact Division of Student Welfare Department also known as DSW in the block 13 that takes care of all these things. Some of these are the categories of the organizations: 1. Academics & Technical 2. Hobbies and Recreation 3. Social Initiative 4. Literary, Media and Publications 5. Career Oriented 6. Foreign & Research Education Initiation 7. Waste Management 8. Environment, Forest & Renewal Energy 9. Disaster Management 10. LPU Chapter of International and National Student Organizations 11. Health and Sanitation 12. Entrepreneurship 13. Software/ Website/App Development 14. Fitness Through Natural Remedies 16. Ayurveda and Yoga 17. Agriculture These clubs are regulated by the DSA so any information regarding upcoming events, club recruitments, achievements of a particular club can be obtained here. I would recommend doing a thorough self evaluation and research on the club you choose before you decide on one. Such clubs make you creative, open to new ideas, improve your communication, are an escape from the mononicity of classes, help you make new friends, and have fun in general. This is actually remembering my days in LPU. I had spent my 5 Years in LPU during my pursuance of Integrated B.Tech. MBA programme & believe me I really enjoyed each & every moment of my campus life. I never get bored & never feel alone in this happening University after my scheduled classes. There are loads of things can be explored for the personality development of the students. With the aim of all-round development of students, so that students would be getting emerged strongly in each & every domain of life, there are nearly 60 student organisation or clubs have been created by Lovely Professional University. With this initiative students will never feel alone in the campus. Each & every Student organisation are unique in nature in terms of their mode of operation. All the clubs are super active in all respect. Joining of clubs depends upon students personal domain of interest. Like during my days in LPU I had joined club associated with Waste Management Project of LPU.
