    To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

    kousalya28356 1) As your son is in 10th standard, it is always advisable to complete schooling first. 12th is the basic requirement if your son wants to join a DEGREE course or apply for job in ANY sector.
    If he has already decided and wants to join a diploma course after 10th, then he may go forward and can complete 12th along side from 'The National Institute of Open Schooling' (NIOS).
