Disha40685 There are many options of study after engineering. If you want to stay in the technical field you may pursue M Tech (Masters in engineering). This may lead you to the field of research or a technical position in an engineering company.
Many a students also go abroad for their Masters (M.S) and PhD in engineering. They may join the academic sector and get into teaching.
Another option before you is to get in the management field. Many other students are doing MBA after engineering and then taking up jobs in the corporate world.
Depending on what are your career aspirations, you may wan to take up any of these.

abhi35192 Both MBA and MCA are high profile courses that compete against each other in today's market. MBA is suitable for individuals with leadership skills and MCA is ideal for people who are skilled technically and wish to enhance their knowledge. There are dissimilarities in the pay scale too. MCA's receive more remuneration than MBA's, unless the MBA's hold a very high job profile.

    Sunny32872 MBA VS MCA-
    1) MBA will definitely help you improve the average salary you can draw provided that you do it from good college (and I am not referring not Top 25 colleges only)
    2) If you are not really considering pursuing career in technical field MBA might help you make that transition.
E.g. if you are interested in marketing then an MBA in marketing would place you in much better position for Marketing roles.
    3) Networking with fellow students - This will definitely help you if you are targeting managerial positions in long term.
But MBA is not a cure-all solution. If you are interested in IT field and really passionate abo

abhi35192 My suggestion is that you go for a good job now or after MCA and once personally settled, you can take a jump to Executive MBA which is meat for working professionals.
For a BCA graduate, job prospects are available in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. But the scope is not limited to the IT companies. Most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc.
