there is no standard prescription.we have to refer to books as per the copy of the syllabus.we can not read remaining within a frame work.for a competitive exam there must be an exhaustive study.

The three-step process is:
-Preliminary Exam (Prelims),
-Main Exam (Mains),

There is no specific book for UPSC exam. This exam requires you to be very knowlegeable and therefore your focus should be to read more and more books or get knowledge form which ever source you can. This examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University.
To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years,
