    Jawaharlal Nehru Technological institution (JNTU), Kakinada, was established in 1946 as a public institution. JNTUK provides more than 63 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and other levels. Admission to JNTUK is determined by admission tests, merit, or a mix of the two, depending on the course.
