To get admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme at Visva Bharati University, candidates should have:
1. B.A. Hons. / B.Sc. Hons. Degree with at least 45% marks in Honours subject
2. 3 years B.A./ B.Sc. / B.Mus. (4 years Rabindra Sangit) degree with at least 45% in aggregate, where no separate course as Honours subject are taught
For deputed candidates:
1. Should have passed B.A. / B.Sc./ B. Mus (Rabindra sangit) and have experience as an approved teacher in a school recognised by W.B.S.E.B./ C.B.S.E. or I.C.S.E.
2. The upper age limit is ordinarily 35 years in case of fresher and 45 years in case of deputed candidates
