    Clarkson University accepts the following English proficiency scores when submitting applications:

    English Proficiency Exam

    Minimum Score Requirements

    TOEFL

    80

    IELTS

    6.5

    Duolingo

    115

    PTE

    56

    Clarkson also provides English testing waivers if students meet the following requirements:

    • SAT score of 550 or higher or ACT score of 43

    • Excellent scores on the English section of an international examination like GCE, IGCSE, IB, etc. 

    • Students who have studied high school for two or more years in the United States
