IIT Jammu arranges several events and seminars for the students. The college arranges various sports activities for students. There are various competitions held in the campus. Some of the recent workshops arranged in college inlude Electric Vehicle Workshop, and others. The students are encouraged to take part in these activities for their own growth of knowledge.
