What all financial aid options are available at Chitkara University, Chandigarh?

Chitkara University doesn’t provide any scholarhships at the institution level. However, students of the university can avail of several government scholarships at the state and national level. Given below are the Chitkara University Scholarships, their eligibility criteria, and rewards:

ScholarshipsEligibility
Punjab Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST
  • The students studying at the post-matriculation level i.e. class 11 to postdoctoral level can apply for this scholarship.
  • The annual income of the family should be less than INR 2.50 Lacs (INR 1 LPA for OBC)
AICTE Scholarship for J&K students
  • Candidate must be a domicile or permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
  • Candidate must have passed class 12 examination from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated schools located in UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
  • The annual family income from all the sources should be less than INR 8,00,000 per annum.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students
  • Candidates above the 80th percentile of successful students who have passed class 12 and are pursuing regular UG/PG course
  • Annual family income less than INR 8 Lakh
NSP Scholarship Scheme for Minority Students (In addition, several other government scholarship schemes are available for minorities)
  • Student must belong to minority community from Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Zoroastrian/Parsi faith
  • Applicant must be pursuing studies in class 11-12, graduation, and postgraduation including technical or vocational courses. MPhil or PhD level courses/degrees
  • Applicant must have secured at least 50% or equivalent grade in the previous examination
  • Annual family income should noe exceed INR 2.5 LPA
