    Hi,
    The choice of a specialization depends on your interest as all streams have equal scope if you are ready to take efforts and work hard. However, if you follow trends of GATE score cutoffs for admissions to M.Tech programs in IITs/NITs then it is much evident that structures is always the first choice.
    A preferential list of various streams may be given as follows:
    1= Structures/Offshore Structures/Structural Dynamics
    2= Transportation/Geotechnical (depending on interest)
    3= Construction Management/ Infrastructure Management
    4= Environmental Engineering
    5= Water Resources Engineering
    6= Remote Sensing
    7= Rock Mechanics
    8= Interdisciplinary fi
