The Institute has earned a spot in the Limca Book of National Records for presenting 542 designs in their annual fashion show "Fashionite 2010, " featuring the work of 82 designers and showcased by 52 models. IIFT was recognised by Asia Education 2022 as the leading institute offering the best fashion design course in India. Moreover, the Indian Institute of Fashion Technology has also been honored with an award from the Asia Education Summit and a national educational excellence award.
