To get admission to the top IITs, an approximate rank within the top 2000-2500 is required in JEE Advanced. However, the exact cut-off varies every year based on various factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and available seats.

For Entering into IITs you have to be in JEE Advanced rank of 5000. Top IITs need JEE Advanced rank of between 50-1000. It also varies depending upon caste category.
