What are companies that visit at LPU for Civil Engineering?

At LPU, every year more than 500+ companies visit for placements. All the companies included have branches in India as well as abroad. Being an alumnus of LPU, I would like to share a few details of placements at LPU with you. In the Summer Internship Placement Drive of 2020, the highest stipend stood at INR 80K. LPU is ranked as the 5th Best Private University in India by Outlook Ranking 2020 and 99 by NIRF Overall ranking of Universities in India. It offers courses in engineering, management, law, architecture, Science, and Humanities. Hope this information is helpful!

L Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many of IITs. As per the world ranking 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject. LPU is renowned in teaching, placements, infrastructure, and other facilities too. Some of the major points to be considered are: 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc. 3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by the CSE department such as AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc. 4. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc. 5. LPU provides many scholarships for bright and innovative students. Impact Ranking 2021: LPU is ahead of all the participating IITs and NITs. It is among the only Indian universities to have scored a set in the top 200 global institutes in the Impact Ranking 2021 released by THE World University Ranking. Lovely Professional University has got the 101-200 bracket. Under the Impact Ranking, THE assesses universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the third ranking released in this series. This year, THE claims to have assessed 1,115 universities from 94 countries or regions. Considering the civil engineering placements, it creates Skilled Professionals that are Recruit-Able much before they Graduate. Two Civil Engineering Students, Gourvind Singh, and Prince Raj, got placed in one of the Fortune 500 companies TRIDENT with packages of INR 15.0 LPA. A B.Tech. Civil Engineering Student Owais Khan got placed in Dharam Consulting with INR 4.5 LPA package. A Civil Engineering Student Sandeep Saini got placed in OYO rooms with INR 4.0 LPA package. Some of the other companies visited are ICONMA, DHARAM CONSULTING, TECHNOVERT, BERGER PAINTS, MEDTRAIL and lot more.

Civil Engineering is an Engineering programme that articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management, etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. LPU gives great placements to capable students. LPU is for sure best for Civil engineering. The maximum package for civil engineering was 19.75 LPA. 86% of the students get placed in civil engineering. Top recruiting companies are SOBHA REALTY, Trident Group, Great Learning, PHABLE, Cognizant Technology Solutions, etc. The majority of students are on internships subject to PPO (Pre-Placement Offer). Larsen & Tubro Ltd. , Simplex Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. , Gammon India, National Highway Authority of India, HCC, Shapoorji & Pallonji, DLF Homes, RITES Ltd. , NCC, SAIL, DMRC BHEL, KEC INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, and many more. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. In addition to core curricula, the course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. So, this is how I think LPU provides the best civil engineering course to its students.

Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies: Structural. Hydraulics. Environment. Geotechnica. Transportation. As per my friend's experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. LPU is Imparting knowledge through site visits, case studies, real-time designs of structures. It has well-equipped lab facilities like concrete testing, cement testing, soil testing, surveying, highway material testing, and structural mechanics. They are Teaching through PPTs, videos, images, and animations. Manual, as well as computerized structural designing skills with CAD and soft-wares like STAAD Pro, MX Road, are provided to the students. Expertise knowledge of planning in construction is provided to the student both manually as well as software MS Project.

At LPU, every year more than 500+ companies visit for the placements. The companies that visit campus have branches abroad also. I am Sharing here some of the latest data in regard to the placements in the university. Few Placement Highlights for the class of 2022: 1000+ National and Multinational companies hired LPU students 8900+ recruitment offers generated CTC of Rs. 64 Lacs as the highest Salary Package 500+ companies offered CTC of Rs. 5 LPA or above Rs 1.6 Lacs per month as the highest internship stipend LPU achieves such results with dedicated efforts in incorporating diverse range of activities.
