The GATE authorities issue strict guidelines for photo uploading, which can be checked below -

Particulars	Details
Photo size	3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height
Image quality	Recent and good quality. Background of the image must be plain (white)
Format and Aspect ratio	JPEG/JPG format with a minimum aspect ratio of 0.66 and a maximum aspect ratio of 0.89
Pixel resolution	Maximum pixel resolution must be 530 x 690 pixels, and the minimum resolution must be 200 x 260 pixels
File size	The minimum file size must be 5 KB, and the maximum must be 600 KB.
