What are KTH's entry requirements for doctoral programs?

<p>To be accepted for doctoral (PhD) studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, all interested applicants must meet the general entry requirements and any special requirements outlined in the position announcement. Only students meeting these following requirements qualify as the potential PhD candidate:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>A&nbsp;degree at the advanced level (master's/second cycle) or</li><li>Fulfilled course requirements corresponding to at least 240 credits, of which a minimum of 60 credits are at the advanced level (master's/second cycle) or</li><li>Otherwise acquired largely equivalent knowledge</li></ul><p><strong>Note</strong>: <em>KTH on its own discretion may exempt an individual applicant from the general entry requirements if there is an extraordinary reason to do so.</em></p><p><strong>Language Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>English language proficiency equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course B/6 is required.
